Diamonds are still rare, but with the wide open caves and with more depth added to the world of course diamonds will show up more.

they didn’t increase diamond rates, they’re the same however all the caves are so open, that almost all generated diamonds are visible

I actually like the fact that diamonds are becoming more accessible because they actually should add higher quality tools above nephrite as diamond is not much better than iron but the difference between diamond and netherite is INSANE

I think it’s a bit harder to find diamonds when you’re playing with darkness as you can’t see the diamonds

Man night vision is gonna be useful in these caves

Wadzee the diamonds have still the same chance at appearing the caves are just bigger so you see more blocks at once which leads to finding diamonds. Plus as you said the early snapshots werent perfect (;;;・_・)

i feel like this makes netherite feel like it’s officially the hardest to find

Now that the caves are mostly full of water they should add mob that stops it from making it too easy

So theoretically, we can build the diamond house that we built at creative when we were kids in survival.
