People who never played Minecraft will never understand the feeling of excitement and joy when finding a vein of diamonds

How to make a full diamond beacon:

I've been sitting at my laptop for probably hours just watching this hardcore series and nothing else.

I love how underwhelming this sounds compared to the netherite beacon

If you don't know, lapis is something related with diamonds. When you find lapis, go on to that lapis ore block and decrease your Z coordinate 4 blocks, and dig down. With 60% chance, you find diamonds.
Or there is an another strategy for finding diamonds. Find a badlands biome, than dig under the clay blocks to bedrock. You will find diamonds

i love how he makes finding diamonds look easy

it's cool to see all this work being put into a video, Creative is cool and all, but i think that doing stuff on Survival is even more cool, just because you have to work hard to obtain the mats. tbh i plan on making a HUGE Adventure Mode map and i plan on doing it only with Survival Mode on, no changing game modes until i'm finished, starting in 1.18 when the rest of Caves & Cliffs releases.

Honestly, I respect wadzee for his dedication to his world

The next time you need to find lots of diamonds, mine in a savanna or desert because they have higher diamond spawn rates.

There's just something so oddly satisfying about mining diamonds, it just never gets old

a tip is download the ore texture pack where it outlines them so you can see diamonds easily and see them when there on the same layer as lava

Tip: Place a cauldron and fill it up with water in the nether so you can stop dying from lava
I know this is weird but try it out in 1.17 too and it's still possible.

You dont need to show your statistics. In hardcore mode, you cant use any cheats. So that explains everything. Btw well done Wadzee🔥Respect❤️

"Diamond ore appears in veins of 3-8. As said by the Minecraft wiki and also by personal experience. Diamond ore only appears at Y level 16 and below, and can be found in veins of 3-8. Due to how Minecraft vein generation works, it is possible to find veins with up to 10 diamonds even though the max vein size is 8."

How does this dude make mining diamonds so interesting to watch

Technically ocean revine mining is very effective because its much more exposed than strip mining and cave exploring but the revines mostly don't go down to Y 12

Honestly, after all this time wadzee spent sitting at his desk i would love to see some tips to prevent neck/back pain XD

the maximum amount of netherite i have held at one time is 43 netherite ingots and 3 netherite scraps :/

If your seed is in the 87% of seeds that can do the swamp clay patch trick, you would find more if you mined underneath a swamp

It’s easier to use natural spawned clay to predict where diamonds are. Just a tip for next time even though I’m just rewatching the series

Veins of more than 8 are extremely rare, because they’re actually 2 veins of diamonds next to each other. The theoretical largest diamond vein is 32, if 4 veins of 8 generate next to each other on a chunk corner

As someone who's been playing Minecraft since it came out, idc how many ores/materials they add that are better than diamonds, diamonds will always be the most exciting/satisfying to find, and definitely feels/looks more powerful than netherite. Diamonds are forever the OG, and ig some people will always see them as the biggest flex even if there are better things added

9:00 in Java there are a max of two diamond veins per chunk and if you are extremely lucky u could technically get a 16 vein of diamonds

Did you know when you find lapis, you will most certainly will find diamond mostly four blocks away on the z coordinates and then you mine down and should find diamond?
Next time you find lapis try it

actually, the max amount you can find for a diamond vane would maybe be 64, spreading across eight chunks on the corners where they are closest, though I doubt anyone will ever find this.
edit: same thing goes for netherite, instead it is only up to 24.

you can also mine silktouch the diamond ores first so that it will save inventory spaces, then you can go back home and mine out the diamonds

Now do the gold, iron, and emerald beacons all in one episode...
Iron: Pretty obtainable from your iron farm
Emerald: I believe you have a trading hall, but if not, do it
Gold: You can strip mine or do it in the nether, the hardest of the three
Diamond: Finished with 20 hours or 3 days
Netherite: Done with 6 months worth of progress
Edit: the tiers would be Netherite, Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron
As the Emeralds would take the longest and some people have pointed out that WadZee can make a gold farm
Plus that would make gold and iron dirt cheap
Also the netherite took WadZee 3 months

Quick question: What does he use for the timer. Just need sort of a timer.

This is easier than the netherite one (obviously) bc you need 4 debris for an ingot plus 4 gold while you can use a fortune 3 pickaxe

8 is the most diamonds in a vein of diamonds in one chunk. Technically if there is an 8 vein where 4 chunks intersect, you can get a 32 vein but it is insanely rare

when you've mined more neatherite than granite

you should extend the pyramid on all sides making a Dimond, Gold, Emerald, and Iron Beacon

In my opinion. Getting ancient debris is easier than finding diamonds

The 10 vein actually just 2 veins together. Diamonds can spawn in veins of 8 at a maximum, but if you are lucky, diamonds can spawn at the edge of 2 adjacent chunks, making it look like 1 large vein. I guess if you are as lucky as you could be, you could find four 8 veins on the corners of 4 adjacent chunks, making a 32 vein

When you already completed the main story, but go back to finish all the side quests

The joy of finding a vein of Diamonds is nothing compared to ancient debris even though they are rare but hey,netherite has no purpose without diamonds (apart from beacons)

At the start, when you said something like this: "I made a full netherite beacon in 6 months." I was thinking of how proud I am. Then after 2 secs you said: "yeah so stupid"

Does a fully diamond or netherite beacon have any advantage over any other material?

the max amount of diamonds you can get in 1 vain is 8 but the reason you get 10 there is because it's in a different chunk so it is actually 2 veins stuck together

For the diamond beacon you should have taken the nthrite beacon and reassmbled it in a cave and give ur self haste

once i mined like for 2 in my hardcore in the earlygame and found only 10
i went through like 15 iron picks

You play runescape, I could never doubt your ability to grind. The netherite beacon has to be real

The reason you mine at Y11 is for safety. At Y10 and below, you can mine straight in to lava, or have lava rain down on you from above. Lava doesnt actually spawn at y11, so you're never gonna break a block and have lava stream at you. Now, if you're lategame and have fire protection enchanted netherite armor, this really doesnt matter. But early on, you mine y11

I am actually very jealous that he find diamonds so easily without xray while it takes me an hour to get 3 diamonds.
